Business Development Executive (B2B) – Sports Retail
Responsibilities
- Develop partnerships with sports retailers, distributors, and eCommerce platforms to expand product reach.
- Identify and implement strategic sales initiatives for sports apparel, equipment, and accessories.
- Conduct market research to analyze consumer buying behavior, competitor strategies, and emerging retail trends.
- Optimize in-store and online sales channels, including direct-to-consumer platforms and third-party marketplaces.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and corporate clients to enhance product availability and pricing.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design retail promotions, influencer partnerships, and seasonal campaigns.
- Attend sports industry expos, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships and explore new business opportunities.
- Track and analyze sales performance, customer engagement, and conversion rates to refine business strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, sports retail, or eCommerce business development.
- Strong understanding of sports retail trends, merchandising strategies, and consumer preferences.
- Proven ability to negotiate partnerships and drive scalable business growth.
- Passion for sports, fitness, and retail commerce, with a keen eye for emerging industry trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving market with strong analytical and networking skills.
